My wife and I went to the dealership to buy a part for our previously purchased Chrysler Town and Country. While there my wife saw a Dodge Journey and fell in love with it and before we left do to the salesperson and our previous experience we had purchased it. I had also seen on the lot a used but in great condition Dodge Nitro and before I new it we were buying that as well. This would not have been possible if it were not for the deal we received as well as our past experience with both the sales and service departments of Tunkhannock AutoMart as well as the friendly staff. I not would but have highly recommended them to friends and others who have seen both my wifes new Journey and my Nitor.Missybill

Buying my 2011 jeep grand cherokee from Eddie Schwartztrauber and Tunk Auto Mart was a terrific experience. The deal was completed in a matter of minutes and the paperwork prepared in advance of the sale. It was a really an effortless purchase. This is the fourth vehicle we have purchased at Tunkhannock AutoMart working with Kevin and Ed Schwarztrauber. They have been and continue to be friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and just plain wonderful to work with. The trade-in value we have received has always been what Kelley Blue Book suggested. Additionally, the price reduction of the MSRP has been fair.
In most cases the experience of purchasing a new vehicle can be less than pleasant. However, with Ed and Kevin, it is a rather smooth process. Their eagerness to meet your needs, give a fair deal, and being 100% honest makes a potential headache producing situation more than bearable.
There is no hesitation in recommending this establishment as I perceive the entire sales staff to be ready to help anyone obtain the vehicle of their dream as best they can.

My husband has been a loyal customer of Eddie's for quite a few years. After hearing so much about him and the dealership I decided to go there for my next vehicle. I have had foreign cars for more years than I can count and have been brand loyal so this was a new experience for me - and what a pleasant experience it was. Edie is great to work with as is the entire staff. Everyone is very friendly, knowledgeabe and courteous. My experience was FUN - never thougt I would use that word to describe buying a car. I was in the market for a new vehicle. I was looking to purchase a Hummer H3 until a friend show me a picture of the "New" Jeep Wrangler Islander edition. After doing some research on the Islander I fell in love. I was browsing on Facebook one day and saw a post from Eddie that he was working at Tunkhannock Automart and to call for an appointment. I called and he got me right in. We sat and talked for a bit and then took the Jeep for a test drive. We weren't even out of the parking lot and I was SOLD! Eddie made the whole expirience TOO EASY! The jeep I test drove wasnt the one I wanted so he researched and found EXACTLY the one that was for me! It was delivered the very next day! I was a little sad, at frist, to trade my '06 Jeep Wrangler but I made the right choice!! Eddie and the whole staff at Tunkhannock Automart were amazing! It's my 2nd vehicle purchased there and will definitely return when the time comes.

What started my encounter with Tunkhannock AutoMart was the way the cars were displayed. The MUSTANG I purchased was placed on the corner of the lot and it made it stand out among the rest.I wasnot interested in buying a car at all at any time, but this car caught my attention and I fell in love with it. This experience kept me up for 3 nights. Finally I agreed to talk to a salesman and to test drive this car hoping it would put an end to the power this car had over me. I did not think that the salesman would be able to convince me to really buy this car. I thought I may not like it after driving it. I was in for a surprise, not only did I love the car more, but the sales person,Eddie Schwarztrauber, was a person that was easy to talk to and even have fun with. Eddie Schwarztrauber had all the correct answers I needed. I am now the very happy and proud owner of my 2007 MUSTANG thanks to Eddie Schwarztrauber and the staff at Tunkhannock AutoMart. I just wanted to let you know of what I went thru on 12/21/09 with buying a 06 Durango.
First, I can not stand buying a car. I dread all the games, lies, double talk,pressure and general bs that customers are put thru by sales people and finance managers. This is probably why I tend to keep my cars until they die.
What I went thru on monday impressed the hell out me! It was the best buying experience that I have ever had! No hassles, no games, no double talk,no pressure,no bs!
Derek was the best sales person that I have ever encountered. He was friendly, courteous,and professional.
Gary was wonderful also. Finanace managers are usually the guy that everyone despises and fear. Dealing with them have earned them the title of "Lienance" managers. Not so with Gary. He was honest, straight-up and helpful.
You have a wonderful staff and I will be spreading the word about my experience with you.

What a WONDERFUL experience. In a matter of 4 hours my husband and I drove home in a used 2010 Jeep Cherokee Laredo 4x4. He was very knowledgeable on the car we test drove. We did arrive with a trade-in vehicle and was given a very fair price. I have had my share of car dealerships in the past and can honestly say..... This was the best experience I have had. What can I say about Tunkhannock Auto Mart. Joe is a very professional, no nonsense kind of salesman. He put me in a vehicle that was better than the one I went there to buy. He was aware of my budget and he made a deal that worked for me. I had a slight service concern, which turned out to be nothing at all, shorly after purchasing my Jeep Liberty that Joe and the service department addressed immediately. Steve and his crew completely checked out the vehicle, road tested it and got it back to me. They answered all my questions thus calming all my fears. They will be doing all my service in the future, I trust them completely. Joe made all the paperwork at the time of the sale a breeze and has followed up, checking on my satisfaction, ever since I bought it. Joe is top notch! I will buy my future vehicles from Joe and I will recommend Tunkhannock Auto Mart to all my friends and family. Thanks Tunkhannock Auto Mart for a great car buying experience from start to finish! Ive been dealing with these guys for close to twenty years and I always go home without buyers remorse.I feel they give me a great deal on new a car and are the best when it comes to trade in value!Ive been dealing with Matt Kerr at the dealership for the last 4 or so cars and he tries his best to get the deal I feel comfortable with. My Review of Tunkhannock Auto Mart:
After visiting another dealer prior to going to Tunkhannock Auto Mart, I was quite
discouraged. I was told it would be very difficult to fit a new Jeep with the options I wanted into my budget, that my trade was worth half of what I thought , and then never even got a return phone call.
I wasn't hoping for much when I went to Tunkhannock Auto Mart, but it ending up being the best car-buying experience I've ever had. I was called back after an online request within a couple hours and had my new Jeep within a day. No problems, no hassle, no stress. My Jeep is not only everything that I wanted , but was also well within my budget and I also got more than a fair amount for my trade.
Matt was very honest and direct and made sure everything was done promptly and correctly. And even though Gary was not in the office the day I picked up my Jeep, he
called me and explained everything the night before so there would be no delay in my pick up.
I appreciate everything that was done for me and would recommend to anyone to make the trip to Tunkhannock, it was more than worth it!

I am writing this letter to let you know that you have some great, understanding individuals employed with the dealership that should be wearing stars on their shoulders and halos over their head.
I have purchase several cars from your dealership and never experience any problems whatsoever, except when I recently bought a used vehicle. There was a noise factor that I was concerned about and called Matt Kerr, the salesperson who showed us the car and sold it. I will say from the start that Matt was great to work with ? a real pleasure to do business with, and knows the product very well.
Anyway, he directed me to Jackie in service. She is a delight and certainly knows her business. She took steps that were far beyond her duties in seeing that I would receive a 100% satisfaction. She had Tom go outside with me and we took a ride in the vehicle. His knowledge and gentleness surprised me and after hearing his explanations, and his expertise. I come to realized that what I was hearing was normal for that particular vehicle.
I so much want to thank them all for the attention they gave to me. This is the first vehicle in many years I purchased used, and my wife is delighted with it. You can be sure that the next new or used vehicle I buy will be from your dealership. I recently purchased a 2010 Jeep Wrangler Sahara from Tunkhannock Auto Mart. My experience from my internet search, value of my trade-in, relationship with my salesman and ease of acquiring financing was very positive. Linda Kane, Director of Internet Operations, responded to my requests within hours. She set me up with my salesperson, Matt Kane. Matt began helping me find the exact vehicle I wanted. His knowledge of their products, inventories and sensitivity to my needs was outstanding. Upon evaluating my trade in vehicle, Tunkhannock Auto Mart was more than fair with their valuation. The Credit Manager assisted in finding me the best interest rate as well as explained the details of my credit report. The vehicle was ready when promised with minimal wait and was absolutely spotless. I highly recommend this dealership and look forward to dealing with them in the future.

We visited almost every dealership in the Wilkes-Barre market while looking for an SUV but always left very disappointed with the customer service received. My husband mentioned we should check out Tunkhannock Auto Mart so we checked out their website and I became very interested in the Compass. I sent some inquiries in and we received some information back from Dave Russell. He was very easy to work with and we scheduled everything through e-mail! On our visit there and after speaking with him, we decided the Patriot was a much better choice for the type of vehicle we were looking for. Dave was fantastic to work with! He was easy to communicate with, very friendly and very knowledgeable which we did not find at the other dealerships we had visited. Definitely will recommend him to friends/family/others!

All of the staff were very friendly and eager to help me. Dave was a great salesman and he and the finance manager worked quickly to find me a deal on my new 2011 Jeep Patriot. After my wife and I decided what type of vehicle we wanted, we searched many web sites. Tunkhannock Auto Mart offered the easiest and most informative. When we visited the dealership, our salesperson, Dave Russell, was very prompt and courteous. They were fare on price and Dave was very knowledgeable about the vehicle.
The Dodge Nitro vehicle selection was not great, but it was better than any other dealership.
We are very happy with our 2011 Dodge Nitro and would not hesitate to recomend Tunkhannock Auto Mart to anyone.

Was looking for a Jeep Wrangler for my daughter, so I filled out the online questionnaire and received a call back the next day from salesman Dave "Riley" Russell. I set up an appointment with him for the following day. He walked us around the lot and showed us his inventory. We picked out one we liked and took it for a test ride. He showed us all the features and ran us through the numbers. They offered us a great value on our trade in. We were very satisfied with the costs, so we did not even bother looking at other dealerships. We purchased the Jeep the next day. Dave was one of the main reasons we chose not to look anywhere else. He provided us with all the information we needed (in a non pressure like environment) and did it in a timely manner. He even met us after regular hours to accomodate our busy schedule.
